Sigil crystals were rare crystals used in lightsaber construction. Mined in the Sigil System, the rarity of these crystals made them expensive for purchase. Unlike Pontite crystals that produced a cool blade, Sigil crystals produced a searing blade that inflicted much damage on contact.
